Yummies!

So, I found it was cheaper to order my Martha book than run out and buy it, so rather than sit and twiddle my fingers until it arrives I decided to make some Smore’s bar. These things were definitely worth doing a quick run to Wal-Mart. They were super easy and tasted ever so yummy!! If anyone is interested in the recipe….TOUGH LUCK!!! Just kidding just send me a message or leave a comment and I will pass it your way.

So, if you’ve been reading my ramblings you know I love Pin-up's and did a post awhile back on black pin-ups. Well during my research I came across an amazing artist that I just had to share with everyone. Her name is Zahira Kelly and she has done a modern spin on Pin-ups that I fell in love with!! Mrs. Kelly said she was looking for Black Pin-up Art when she was going to get a tattoo and noticed the lack of color, so she created her own dolls aka Kelly's Dolls. She also does custom work, which is outstanding. I am thinking I need a custom doll of myself done.

This is my Favorite!!

Please check out her MySpace for more pictures!

  2. I just found your blog and I love it! Those cookie things look awesome (and pretty!).

I love pinup girls too, and this artist is wonderful. Those illustrations are hot!! It would be so neat to have a custom pinup version of yourself.

  8. I am lazy and thought I would just post the recipie here just in case:

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
    1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 cups milk chocolate chips (18 oz)
    4 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

    1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir together cookie mix and crumbs. Stir in melted butter until soft dough forms. Press into ungreased 13x9-inch pan.

    2. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until set. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes or until chocolate begins to melt. Spread chocolate evenly over crust.

    3. Set oven control to broil. Sprinkle marshmallows over melted chocolate. Broil with top 4 to 5 inches from heat 20 to 30 seconds or until marshmallows are toasted. (Watch closely; marshmallows will brown quickly.) Cool 10 minutes. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Serve warm. Store any remaining bars tightly covered.
