Christmas Recap...

So, I skipped right over doing a Christmas follow-up post, due to my excitement about the Teen Witch video. My Christmas was great, it started out a little awkward, due to the fact that I have to return all of the BF's stuff for various reasons, but I am hoping to get him a Wii in the next few days. I loved everything he got me which included the following

(Loco wanted to show off his Holiday Spirit and I wanted to test out this cool App)

I bought the BF “The Hangover” on DVD, but ended up getting it on BlueRay instead of regular DVD. The day after Christmas we went to about 4 Targets looking for that stupid movie to exchange it. Since it was a DVD they wouldn’t allow us to refund it (even though I had the receipit and it was unopened) at one point I was thinking about having my mail forwarded to Target, because we were there so much. One thing that did catch my eye was the insanely cute Valentines Day stuff they were slowly bringing out. Target has the BEST selection of Valentines Day stuff, so I get super excited when its that time of the year. I got a ton of stuff for my kitchen, so I took some pictures (please excuse my poor little apartment kitchen)

Now its time to plan for New Years Eve....are you doing anything fun?

Top That....

I had to post this when my sister sent me the video link. It’s a re-make of the best part of one of my Top Ten 80's movies (number 1 being "Valley Girl...but we will save that for another time) “Teen Witch” .

I have seen this movie a zillion times, but it never gets old, especially the rap part. It’s so cheesy, but once you see it your going to be rapping and trying to re-create those dance moves (I won't lie, when I saw this I was all up in my bedroom, trying to top this, and right now thinking I might have to work this out when I get home today).

Well this new video (courtsey of Teen Vogue) on my favorite classic is starring Rachel Antonoff the cutie from “Whip It” and “Arrested Development”.

The basic concept of the movie is the same old same...nerdy sweet girl, turns into evil popular girl, loses nerdy friends, gains evil popular friends, que sad music....lesson learned that you should be "True to the Real You"...and you get the guy!!

(Louise the coolest witch around!!)
And for you viewing pleasure!!!

PS - I heard this rumor (it hurts me to even type it) that Hollyweird was thinking about remaking this wonderful little gem with Ashley Tisdale....yes, thats right ruining a classic with Ashley Tisdale.

Lets just say if this is true, some heads will be rolling...Kapish!!

Celeb Nonsense....

No one in her group, posse or click thought they should sit her down and say, “Miley booty shorts and a crop top are a little inappropriate to wear when meeting the Queen of England”.

(Credit: Ken McKay/Rex )

Then to make matters worse she has on a boob waiting to fall out dress on when shaking hands with the queens.

At least Brittney keeps her trashtastic outfits for Target.

Sharing is Caring...

In today’s day and age who doesn’t love saving money, which has caused to me form an addiction to coupons and promos codes. The BF laughs at me whenever we got shopping, because I always have my stock pile of coupons (but he is not laughing when he using them).

With everyone doing their last minute shopping I thought I would save you some work from digging and share a few of the ones I received the last few days.

2010...

Its getting close to the end of the year, which means its time to make that dreaded list of Resolutions for 2010. Every year I get motivated until about February when I just get lazy. I am getting older and which only means less time on this earth, so this year I am going to force myself to stick, commit and do this darn resolutions. So my top ten list of resolutions for 2010.

1. Learn to Sew

2. Make a new girl friend who actually lives in Austin

3. Take a photography class and really learn how to use my DSLR camera (So I can take cool pictures like this from Miss Missy)

4. Go to Vegas

5. Attend Culinary School

6. Get my I Bleed Pink website completed

7. Graduate Grad School (only 2 more classes…Hip Hip Hoorah!!)

8. Lose 20lbs (and get off my buttered popcorn and cherry limeade diet)

9. Be as happy in my work life as I am in my personal life!

(This is the AWESOME jacket I bought Loco)

10. Stop letting the small things bother me, there are bigger issues in life and dumb people should not be on the top of my list.

But for right now my resolution is to go and get me one of these…YUM-O!!

Weekend Recap...

Last weekend the BF took me out to dinner and to see the Princess and the Frog. Dinner was awful, the food was digesting and the hostess was so RUDE. I’ve noticed here in Austin that food service workers are horrible. A lot of the “homegrown” restaurants have some of the worst staff working there, and it seems acceptable. Being a very outspoken person I’ve had to bite my tongue many of times due to bad service. At the particular restaurant we went to the hostess had they worse attitude ever. I don’t get it, I am the person who is going to tip you and you want to be ugly and rude. I am not a fan of my job either, but I can at least fake a smile.

Despite the horrible dinner experience, the movie was EXCELLENT!!! I loved everything about it, the story, characters and music.

Now I am trying to convince the BF to take me to the Big Easy for my birthday (or maybe after, because my birthday is in February and I don’t think me and Mardi Gras would be a good match…. I’ve watched way to many episodes of Cops during Mardi Gras)

I saw these the other day on Etsy and I think I need them!!
